    Del Norte’s 60th Anniversary “ReuKnighted for the Castle” was filled with smiles, surprise sightings of former classmates and teachers, student and alumni performances, memorabilia, alumni artists, music and cake during the October 5th event.
  • 2024 Sadie’s Dine to Donate Fundraiser - Tue, Nov 12th
    The 2024 Dine to Donate fundraiser at Sadie’s on Academy is all-day, Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Just show the flyer on your smartphone or download and print it for your server. Funds raised will be used to help Del Norte student and staff projects.
  • DNHS Graduate Samantha (Lopez) Veretto Named Mrs. New Mexico 2024
    Samantha (Lopez) Veretto, a 2007 graduate of Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, has been named Mrs. New Mexico 2024. Samantha studied at Western New Mexico University and created her clothing business Momma Boss Swim and Sport.
  • DNHS Choral Director Camille Kelly Named Finalist in 2024 Golden Apple Awards
    Camille Kelly, Director Choral & Piano Activities at DNHS, has been named as a 2024 Golden Apple Finalist. The Golden Apple Foundation of NM identifies, recognizes, and rewards exceptional teachers in New Mexico with prestigious Golden Apple awards.
  • DNHS Graduate and Amputee-Athlete Kyle Stepp Helping Others With Diabilities
    When Kyle Stepp was a freshman at DNHS, he was diagnosed with with bone cancer and his leg was eventually amputated. In a story of story of resilience, Kyle now helps others with disabilitis through the nonprofit Range of Motion Project.
  • DNHS Teacher Josh Garcia Promotes Unique Skateboarding Class
    Del Norte High School Fine Arts teacher Paul “Josh” Garcia turned his vision of the future into a skateboarding class at Del Norte. In a recent interview on KOB-TV at an Olympic Skateboarding viewing party, Josh said the unique class provides all sorts of opportunities.
