Jack Vermillion, DNHS Grad and Long-Time Principal Featured in APS District News

For over two decades, 1979 DNHS graduate Jack Vermillion has been more than just a principal—he’s been a mentor and the face of S.Y. Jackson Elementary. That personal touch has made him a trusted leader in Albuquerque Public Schools.

Accepting 2025 AlumKnights Scholarship Applications!

The AlumKnights provide scholarships annually to graduating seniors from Del Norte High School with a history of service to their school and community. The 2025 scholarship application process is available for download and online submission and are due by noon on February 16, 2025.

DNHS Graduate Samantha (Lopez) Veretto Named Mrs. New Mexico 2024

Samantha (Lopez) Veretto, a 2007 graduate of Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, has been named Mrs. New Mexico 2024. Samantha studied at Western New Mexico University and created her clothing business Momma Boss Swim and Sport.
