What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
One memory that sticks out in my mind is an assignment during my junior year English period, where we had team debates regarding a certain topic that the class would pick. I was quite nervous, but I had one of my best friends as my team partner, and we performed together quite well. I remember in that moment feeling pretty confident in myself, in a way that I hadn’t really ever experienced before.

What do you intend to study at your college or university?
At the moment my major is undecided! However, I have interests in history and art.

What do you want to do after you graduate from college?
Become a financially successful adult. I’ll also probably want to travel and see the world a little. That’s such a long time from now, I don’t know what future me would think!

What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
My most memorable experience of being a student at Del Norte High School would have to be when I received my academic letter in front of all my family and then when I was able to pick up my academic bar. Getting these achievements really motivated me to keep getting good grades and it was an amazing experience to see all my family be super proud of me.

What do you intend to study at your college or university?
I intend to major in zoology because I plan to work with all types of exotic animals after college.

What do you want to do after you graduate from college?
After I graduate from college I would love to have a career at the zoo or even at a nature reserve. The plan right now is to become a zookeeper but I’m not opposed to more higher ranked jobs.

What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
I would have to say that my most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School would be the assemblies we had! The assemblies were so much fun and I loved being with all my friends there. I specifically remember this one time as Juniors we won the spirit stick and we were so excited about it, one of my last great memories about in person school.

What do you intend to study at your college or university?
My goal is to go into the medical field! The goal is to become a nurse and from there on branch out to hopefully one day become a pediatrician. I aspire to become a pediatrician one day and help all those precious babies in need.

What do you want to do after you graduate from college?
After I graduate from college I will be turning my passion into a job! Also, one of my dreams is to travel around the world here and there with my mom and sister. I want to give something back to my mom because she has sacrificed so much for me.

What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
One of my most memorable experiences at Del Norte would be when the football team made state and the marching band played throughout the hallways at school. That was a very fun experience and will always remind me of high school.

Why do you want to pursue a career in the nursing profession?
I want to pursue nursing because I wanted to do something challenging that I know I’ll enjoy. I’ve always loved learning about the body and loved helping other people in times of need. I also chose this career path because I like the variety of the job, it’s not the same routine everyday and I really enjoy that.
