What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
My most memorable experience at Del Norte was performing the color-guard for the boys state championship game in 2022. I had never performed in a crowd that big, and I was with some of my closest friends. It was one of the first high school experiences I had that was not held back or different because of covid.

What do you intend to study at your college or university?
I plan on studying sports medicine and psychology.

What do you want to do after you graduate from college?
I want to be an athletic trainer at the college level , or even high school. I love watching sports games and I love helping people so I think I would really enjoy helping athletes recover from injuries. I also wanted to study psychology to be able to mentally help athletes as some aren’t comfortable talking to a therapist or counselor. I want to be able to help them in any way I can.

What was your most memorable experience as a student at Del Norte High School?
Crafting a wooden pencil in Del Norte’s woodshop remains one of my favorite memories. It was during my sophomore year that I worked on this project, and even now, that pencil holds a special place in my heart. I spent about a week working on it with the help of my teacher, Mr. Reynolds. Being able to create something that I could use was a great accomplishment.

I intend to either continue studying architecture or switch my focus to civil engineering.

What do you want to do after you graduate from college?
After college, I hope to pursue a career in the Middle East, such as the UAE, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia, where modern architecture is in high demand and I can be closer to my family.
