On Saturday, November 16, 2019, Del Norte High School AFJROTC hosted its 22nd Annual Duke City Drill Meet. In addition, the Bill Barker marksmanship portion of the competition was conducted on Friday November 15th, 2019 at West Mesa High School. At the event Jr-ROTC students from schools all throughout the state where judged and scored based on their performances. At the end of the competition, the top performing units were awarded trophies and top performing individuals received metals.
Multiple DNHS Jr-ROTC units won trophies and individual awards over other high school schools in their 4A division.
