DNHS Alumni Leba Freed Named a “True Hero” by NM Magazine

Leba Freed, Del Norte High School Class of ’67, was named one of the “True Heroes 2023” by New Mexico Magazine. Leba founded Albuquerque’s Wheels Museum. She has also worked diligently over two decades to preserve Albuquerque’s historic rail yards. Leba has been recognized by the Albuquerque Historical Society with an Albuquerque History Accolade.
