Samantha (Lopez) Veretto, a 2007 graduate of Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, has been named Mrs. New Mexico 2024. The Mrs. America Pageant is the longest standing beauty pageant for married women. Originally established in 1938 as the “Mrs. American Pageant”, Mrs. America was created to honor married women throughout the United States. Contestants representing all 50 states, including the District of Columbia, compete in the national Mrs. America pageant after winning their respective state’s title.
Samantha studied at Western New Mexico University, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology. Playing softball and devoting her time doing community service for the city, veterans and addiction community as well. The charities she is involved with are the Wounded Warriors project foundation and the Andrew McDonough foundation.She is also an entrepreneur who created her clothing business Momma Boss Swim and Sport.
