Joe Cajero, who graduated from Del Norte High School in 1988, along with his wife Althea have been chosen as the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture Living Treasures for 2014. Joe Cajero is a bronze and clay sculptor originally from Jemez Pueblo and jeweler Althea Cajero is from the Kewa and Acoma pueblos. The MIAC Living Treasure award is given in recognition of artistic excellence and community service.
