  • DNHS Graduate, Educator and State Rep Andrés Romero Interviewed on NM PBS
    New Mexico State Representative Andrés Romero, a graduate of Del Norte High School, was recently featured on New Mexico PBS. As the chair of the Legislative Education Study Committee, Andrés discussed potential changes to federal education policy.
  • Accepting 2025 AlumKnights Scholarship Applications!
    The AlumKnights provide scholarships annually to graduating seniors from Del Norte High School with a history of service to their school and community. The 2025 scholarship application process is available for download and online submission and are due by noon on February 16, 2025.

    Del Norte’s Coach Fred Polich has been featured in APS News for helping to create students who understand determination and perseverance. His legacy is defined not by medals, but by the lasting influence he has on the lives of those he mentors.

  • DNHS Graduate Samantha (Lopez) Veretto Named Mrs. New Mexico 2024
    Samantha (Lopez) Veretto, a 2007 graduate of Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, has been named Mrs. New Mexico 2024. Samantha studied at Western New Mexico University and created her clothing business Momma Boss Swim and Sport.
  • DNHS Choral Director Camille Kelly Named Finalist in 2024 Golden Apple Awards
    Camille Kelly, Director Choral & Piano Activities at DNHS, has been named as a 2024 Golden Apple Finalist. The Golden Apple Foundation of NM identifies, recognizes, and rewards exceptional teachers in New Mexico with prestigious Golden Apple awards.
